As part of its 2020\u20132024 strategic plan, the OEAQ aimed to modernize its operations, strengthen member oversight, and enhance governance and efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An internal IT audit revealed several key challenges: an outdated membership system, recurring technical issues with invoicing and data updates, lack of integration with the member portal, and heavy reliance on manual Excel-based processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To address these issues, the OEAQ selected <strong>Eudonet CRM<\/strong>, a turnkey, scalable, and connected solution designed for professional orders. The platform\u2019s flexibility, user-friendly interface, and proven reliability met the Order\u2019s specific needs for membership management, compliance, and communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, Eudonet CRM enables the OEAQ to centralize its data, simplify member management, and ensure seamless coordination between teams. This modernization supports the Order\u2019s broader goal to protect the public while providing its members with efficient, transparent, and high-quality services.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mission of the Ordre des \u00e9valuateurs agr\u00e9\u00e9s du Qu\u00e9bec (OEAQ) is to protect the public interest by ensuring the quality of the professional acts performed by its members, currently standing at 1000 chartered appraisers in Quebec. All members must be in good standing with the OEAQ, which is governed by the Professional Code. In addition, the order strives to consistently improve the professional services provided to the public by its appraisers.Genevi\u00e8ve Caron-Martin, Director General of the OEAQ, discusses her choice of Eudonets\u2019 CRM solution and the issues the organization wishes to address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-ordre-des-evaluateurs-agrees-du-quebec\">The Ordre des Evaluateurs Agr\u00e9\u00e9s du Qu\u00e9bec<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Created 1969<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Board of Directors of 15 members<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1000 certified members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-were-the-major-issues-at-stake-for-the-oeaq\">What were the major issues at stake for the OEAQ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its strategic plan 2020-2024, the OEAQ has identified the following challenges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Promoting and recognizing the Order to the public and its members<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attracting candidates and retaining experienced members<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reinforcing supervision and monitoring of professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improving governance and organizational effectiveness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-plan-of-action\">What plan of action?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To meet its challenges, the OEAQ has defined the following improvements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Updating and improving communication strategies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modernizing the admissions process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimizing monitoring, coaching and investigation processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementing the tools necessary for good governance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-did-you-implement-a-member-relationship-management-solution\">Why did you implement a member relationship management solution?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After highlighting its challenges, the OEAQ conducted an IT audit of the organization: team, processes, IT architecture and finances. This audit raised certain risks and issues related to the membership table, which had become outdated and no longer supported over the past year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technical problems with membership fees and therefore errors in updating information (amounts and invoicing)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lack of flexibility in navigation and access to information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lack of integration with the member area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lack of document management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lack of communication with other systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, working on several external files (Excel) resulted in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A risk of obsolescence of the data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double the workload for the teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cFollowing the identification of these many issues and our obligation to comply with the Professional Code in terms of the membership roll, we began to look for a new solution that would meet these needs.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-did-you-choose-eudonet\">Why did you choose Eudonet ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFollowing our attendance at the CIQ 2019 congress, we met Eudonet amongst the exhibitors at the event and agreed to a one on one meeting.
