Context of the Child Focus association

The Child Focus Foundation, adhering to the ethical code of fundraising of the AERF association, is a public utility foundation that strives to find missing children and combats the sexual exploitation of minors online and offline. Representing 45% of the association’s annual sources of funding, recurring donations from the general public are by far the most significant part, making them a major challenge for the Foundation.

With growing needs, the association is committed to encouraging one-time donors to give regularly, to retain existing recurring donors, and to encourage all donors to increase their commitment alongside them. To meet this challenge with increasing demands, the Fundraising and Communication team needed a common base and tool to save time, enhance visibility, improve responsiveness, and better assess, target, and coordinate their actions.

Bringing together and qualifying all donations in a single database, regardless of their sources (direct debits, transfers, credit cards, Bancontact, etc.), is crucial for the daily work of the teams. This allows them to have a thorough understanding of donor profiles and, consequently, identify strategies to renew and even increase their engagement.

This presents a real challenge as it is essential to avoid any disruptions during the migration from the previous system, which accumulated several years of development. Additionally, the aim is to benefit from more flexible and efficient querying and analysis tools, enabling the teams to make better use of the wealth of their database.
